Kasia & Sally

May 23rd - June 6th

Kasia Reilly spent her time at the Croft incubating a new creative work exploring the transformative properties of grief and death, and diving deeply into her Double Skin Double Mind Teacher Training. Painting, the movement of hand on page in relationship to page, was a space where she felt moved to explore her new creative work. Together with fellow dancer Sally Butin, they researched the ways that women in particular encounter grief. They explored what it felt like to return to dance as a daily practice. Kasia spent a few days zooming into her Double Skin Double Mind teacher training, and practiced her facilitation of DS/DM with Sally, The Croft Staff, and some community members. If you are interested in learning more about DS/DM here is a link to a documentary that was made about the workshop practice in 2006. DS/DM is the movement language of the company ICK
